Timothy Ng Wai Keong founded Timothy Ng LLC (formerly known as Timothy Ng & Co). He practises commercial arbitration/litigation, focusing principally on contractual, construction and civil engineering disputes. Timothy Ng has acted for and against professional associations in the construction industry in disciplinary hearings as well as for consultants, contractors and developers in construction related disputes, in both arbitration and litigation. His portfolio of non-contentious work involves drafting and vetting building, consultancy and other construction related documents.

Timothy Ng graduated from the University of Buckingham in 1994, was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Gray's Inn) the following year and the Singapore Bar in 1997. He has been in active practice since. In the course of practice, he pursued a two-year (part-time) Masters in Law at the National University of Singapore which he obtained in 2003.

Timothy Ng has presented papers at seminars and jointly conducted workshops for professional associations in the construction industry. He has also lectured construction law as well as dispute resolution to postgraduate students on the Masters of Science (International Construction Management) programme at Nanyang Technological University. Timothy is presently an Adjunct Associate Professor at National University of Singapore, where he teaches construction law. He also heads the construction law course at UniSIM.

Timothy is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as well as the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He has been appointed to the arbitration panel of:

i)  The Law Society of Singapore;
ii) Singapore Institute of Arbitrators; and
iii) Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration

He is also a member of Gray's Inn (England & Wales) and The Law Society of Singapore.

Timothy Ng's practice covers commercial litigation/arbitration with particular emphasis on construction and civil engineering disputes. He has been involved in litigation at the appellate level as well as both domestic and international arbitrations. Timothy has also been involved in disciplinary proceedings against architects before the Board of Architects having prosecuted on behalf of the Board of Architects as well as defending an architect in disciplinary proceedings before the Board of Architects.

Timothy's experience in non-contentious work includes advising on and drafting of building contracts and consultancy agreements for both local and foreign construction projects.

Besides professional work, Timothy is also active in community service.

  • Jointly conducted a seminar for the Singapore Institute of Builders on the Building & Construction Industry Security Of Payment Act.
  • Jointly conducted a seminar for the Singapore Institute of Builders on Performance Bonds in the Construction Industry.
  • Jointly conducting a seminar for the Singapore Institute of Builders on Dispute Resolution in the Construction Industry
  • Joint conducted a seminar, Construction Contracts Best Practices. This seminar was organised by Ahrals Centre for Business Forums
  • Jointly conducted a presentation of the Law Society Arbitration Rules to the Housing Development Board.
  • Lectured Construction Law Module for the MSC (International Construction Management) at the Nanyang Technological University.
  • Course Chair for Construction Law Course at UNISIM.
  • Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS.

 Allison graduated from the University of Bristol in 2016 and was called to the Singapore Bar in August 2018.

Allison has assisted in various dispute resolution matters, including but not limited to disputes in building and construction, commercial contracts, professional negligence and personal loans. Allison has also assisted in insolvency matters, en-bloc disputes, advising on and drafting commercial agreements, and criminal matters.
